The rigid landfill site is divided into three landfill reservoir areas for rolling construction, and the effective storage capacity of 90000 m has been completed in phase I ³ Rigid landfill 1. Landfill site 1 of phase I is divided into 10 zones, each zone includes 36 landfill units, and the size of each landfill unit is 7m long × 7m wide × The height is 5.1m and the monomer volume is 250m ³。

This rigid landfill is the first rigid landfill designed and built in strict accordance with the pollution control standard for hazardous waste landfill (gb18598-2019) in Jiangsu Province, and also fills the gap of rigid landfill of hazardous waste in Xuzhou. Compared with flexible landfill, the advantage of rigid landfill is that it uses reinforced concrete as impervious layer, which is not easy to cause soil and groundwater pollution. And through zoning landfill, it is possible for future scientific and technological development, re excavation and disposal of hazardous wastes and resource reuse. It has greatly improved the consumption capacity of hazardous waste in Xuzhou and its surrounding areas, and improved the types of hazardous waste disposal.
